Consider alternative suppliers when:

  • You're buying high-volume consumables like IV catheters and the specialist's price gap is meaningful (I'd look closely at anything above 10-15%).
  • Your surgical team needs a specific laparoscope configuration or niche instrument set BTL doesn't offer.
  • You have a specialized biosensor application requiring sensor capabilities beyond standard patient monitoring.
